KAMAZ has mastered a new technology for painting Compass vehicles
Since April, the serial painting of cabins of KAMAZ "Compass" trucks has been organized at the most innovative plant of KAMAZ PTC, the Cabin Frame Plant (CFP). Now the cabins will be painted using wet-on-wet technology, which is considered the most advanced in the world and significantly improves product quality. Previously, these cabins were painted at the KAMAZ Frame and Press Plant.
At the moment, two family models are included in the serial painting process: Compass 9 with a berth and without it, as well as Compass 12 with a berth. The development of Compass 5 is planned for the second quarter of 2025.
