KAMAZ and "SpetsAvtoKam" represent the K5 generation agricultural novelty
KAMAZ, together with SpetsAvtoKam LLC, is expanding the range of vehicles based on the K5 generation chassis designed for agricultural industry. The new agricultural vehicle is a road train consisting of KAMAZ-65658 dumper and 85300A dump trailer.
The K5 generation chassis – KAMAZ-65658 (6x2) is used as a basis. The main criterion in its development was the minimization of fuel consumption with an increase in the weight of the cargo transported and preservation of the maximum permissible axial loads. KAMAZ-65658 chassis is designed for mounting various superstructures, equipped with KAMAZ-689.510 engine capacity of 390 HP and a cabin 2,300 mm wide with one berth. The total weight is 26 tons, the load capacity is 16.3 tons, the mass of the trailer towed is 18 tons, the total weight of the road train is 44 tons. Features of the model include a hypoid drive axle and a rear lifting axle.
The vehicle's platform is steel, box–type. Steel grade 09G2C is used, the thickness of the base and side panels is 3 mm. The volume of the dump platform is 25.2 m3, the volume of the trailer dump platform is 26.1 m3. The total volume of cargo transported by the road train is 51.3 m3.
