KAMAZ and Gazprom signed a cooperation agreement
On March 15, 2023, a working meeting was held between Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ PTC, and Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Board, during which a Cooperation Agreement was signed.
In accordance with the document, KAMAZ will develop models of an intercity bus and an off-road vehicle running on natural gas for Gazprom.
Buses are supposed to be used to deliver employees on public roads to workplaces located at a considerable distance from public transport infrastructure. Off–road vehicles will be used as a universal transport for solving production tasks in hard-to-reach areas. Technical solutions for the structural composition and configuration of new models will be worked out, pilot samples will be tested.

KAMAZ PTC and Mosgortrans SUE have signed a two-year contract for the supply and subsequent maintenance of 1,000 electric buses.
According to the contract terms, deliveries of KAMAZ electric buses are provided from April 2023 to December 2024. Every month, 50 new vehicles will enter the routes of Moscow. The total amount of the transaction is 63.3 billion rubles. This is the largest contract for the supply of such vehicles in Europe.
