The Chinese Jetta brand, which produces cars on the Volkswagen group platforms, announced the start of Russian sales of the updated VS5 and VS7 crossovers. Both models have received a number of stylistic changes and have become more expensive.
Thus, VS5 features a revised radiator enclosure, a reduced number of chrome elements and a different front bumper. Design of the larger VS7 has become stricter: the radiator enclosure is now painted in body color, the front and rear bumper have been redesigned.
Technical specifications remained unchanged for both models, which are based on Volkswagen's MQB platform and are equipped with 1.4-liter 150-HP turbocharged engines coupled with the Aisin 6-speed automatic gear box.
Moreover, prices for both crossovers have grown. If the cost of the pre-styled VS5 was 2.95-3.15 million rubles, then the price for the updated version varies from 3 to 3.35 million rubles. VS7 was previously available for purchase at the price from 3.22 to 3.38 million rubles, while the new price varies from 3.37 to 3.53 million rubles.
