Hongqi is considering the possibility of launching production of H5 business sedan at the Belarusian Unison plant. As reported by "Autonovosti Dnya" with reference to the "Auto Mail.ru" portal, the final decision has not yet been made.

Earlier it was reported that Hongqi plans to synchronize its model line-ups in the Chinese and Russian markets and sell models, sold in China, in Russia. According to Ivan Saveliev, CEO of Hongqi Rus, in the future, all-wheel drive versions of H5 and H9 sedans may appear in the Russian Federation, and in 2025 a new large-sized L1 sedan will enter the Russian market.
