

Irina Zaripova, Chairman of the Public Council for Taxi Development, proposed adopting a state standard for automakers of cars intended for passenger transportation.
The main requirements proposed by Ms. Zaripova as a standard are the cost of a car in the range of 1-1.5 million rubles, a factory warranty of at least 3 years and the following technical characteristics: powertrain capacity of 100-150 HP, front-wheel drive, automatic gear box, fuel consumption of 5-7 liters per 100 km and the ability to operate without major repair of at least 300 thousand km.
Letters with relevant proposals were sent to Anton Alikhanov, the Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vyacheslav Volodin, the Speaker of the State Duma, and Valentina Matvienko, the Chairman of the Federation Council.
