The Sollers plant in Vladivostok, which produced Russian Mazda versions until May, can launch the mass production of Chinese Geely and Chery.

It is known that the meeting of the Russian-Chinese Business Council (RKDS) in Vladivostok was attended by the Chinese delegation, including representatives of Geely, the manufacturer of special-purpose equipment Sany Heavy Industry, as well as major Chinese construction concerns China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC) and China State Construction Engineering Corp. (CSCEC).

Detailed information on the results of negotiations has not yet been announced, but they will likely result in the production localization of Geely cars at the facilities of the local Sollers plant, which previously served as the production base for Russian Mazda versions.
