Chery may launch production in Russia

The Chinese Chery is exploring the possibilities of localizing production in Russia. The company may launch its own car production in Russia or open a plant on the terms of partnership, said Zhang Guibing, Chery International CEO.

There was also a message from the head of the manufacturing company that Chery cars equipped with a hybrid power plant, as well as electric cars, will enter the Russian market. So, in 2023, it is planned to bring Tiggo 8 Pro e+ and Tiggo 7 Pro hybrid crossovers, as well as Arrizo 8 gasoline-electric sedan to the Russian market.
