AvtoVAZ shared its production plans for 2023

AvtoVAZ told about the company's plans for 2023. According to the company's representatives during a press conference, this year the company plans to produce 400 thousand cars in Togliatti and about 10 thousand units more at the new production site, which was transferred to the company from Nissan in Saint Petersburg. The total investment in the development of the company will amount to 40 billion rubles. Investments will be allocated, among other things, to the localization of the electronic antilock braking system (ABS).

In addition, the company confirmed the previously mentioned plans — to restart production of Lada Vesta in spring of 2023 at the plant's facilities in Togliatti, and to return Lada Largus to the assembly line in autumn. The company also plans to restart installing 1.6 16V engines.
