AvtoVAZ has started to master the production of a new engine for Niva
During the 11-day holidays, the AvtoVAZ production plant began to master the new 1.8-liter 90-HP unit for the longitudinal layout for the Niva family, according to the official representative of the company Sergey Ilyinsky.
According to Mr. Ilyinsky, first of all, LADA Niva Travel will be equipped with a new power plant, which is planned to be implemented by the end of this year. In the future, the classic model of the line-up, LADA Niva Travel, will receive a new engine.
Recall that currently all models of the Niva family are equipped with 1.7-liter 80-HP unit with 127 Nm of torque.
