Avtotor will test its own electric engines
Avtotor intends to test the technology for replacing an internal combustion engine (ICE) with an electric engine of its own production in the spring, said the holding founder, Vladimir Shcherbakov. He also said that the Kaliningrad region will launch a program of fleet engine replacement with the support of local government bodies. According to him, the cost of replacing the internal combustion engine with an electric engine at a mass launch will be € 1 thousand.
Recall that in January 2023, Avtotor returned to car production, having started with the assembly of the Chinese Kaiyi E5 sedan, and plans to produce up to 100 thousand cars in 2023.
