Almaz-Antey will buy the former Toyota plant in Russia

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has developed a draft government decree on the sale of a 100 percent stake of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise NAMI to LLC Shushary-Avto, to which the former assets of the Russian automobile plant of the Japanese Toyota were transferred. The project was created on behalf of the head of the Ministry Denis Manturov.

The press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade reports that the share will be sold to the Almaz-Antey concern, which plans to set up the production of trucks at the automobile plant in Saint Petersburg, as well as E-Neva electric crossover by 2026.
