The premiere of MAZ-X tractor unit produced by the Minsk Automobile Plant together with its partner, AMB–Engineering company, took place in Moscow. It is known that MAZ-X has a high level of localization: the share of Belarusian components is 50%, the share of components from friendly countries is 30%.

The novelty has a 220kW diesel engine (300 HP) and two electric motors capacity of 200 kW each. In addition, an additional 10 km is provided by a buffer energy storage with a recovery system.

The tractor unit has a reduced curb weight due to the absence of a transmission and an aluminum cab frame with plastic panels. The frame is also lightened, and single-tire wheels are installed at the back. The load capacity is 10.5 tons. The range is 3,000 km.
