Russian Automotive Market Research

Sollers Ford will produce and supply more than 350 Ford Transit cash-in-transit vehicles for the Russian banking sector. The first 44 vehicles will be delivered to Sberbank by the end of this month, while the remaining ones will be supplied to customers by mid-autumn 2021.

The all-metal van is used as the base version for the armored Ford Transit. The cash-in-transit vehicles are maximally customized and, depending on the customer's requirements, are equipped with front, rear or all-wheel drive, as well as the engine of the required capacity (125-136 HP). The wide possibilities of optional filling and reinforced suspension of the base van allow to book Ford Transit according to the protection class required by the customer, as well as to combine the protection elements of different classes in one vehicle.
