20 KAMAZ buses have been shipped to Rostov-on-Don

A large batch of KAMAZ-6282 electric buses has arrived in Rostov-on-Don. In the near future, innovative vehicles will enter the city routes.

The new vehicles are adapted to the hot climate of Rostov-on-Don, KAMAZ electric buses are equipped with a dual-zone climate control system. They also have the necessary equipment for transportation of low-mobility groups of the population, announcement devices, electronic information boards, video surveillance system, and USB sockets for passengers.

Innovative vehicles are supplied under the urban electric public transport integrated development program, which is implemented in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation. Recall that the federal project for the development of urban electric transport is being implemented simultaneously in ten regions of Russia: it provides for the supply of more than 280 electric buses, 647 tram cars, as well as the installation of more than 120 charging stations to ensure the stable functioning of the electric bus route network in the regions. As part of this program, KAMAZ will deliver 87 electric buses to six regions of Russia by the end of the year. Batches of electric buses have already been delivered to Volgograd, Perm, Kursk, and Lipetsk.
