According to the marketing agency NAPI, 157.8 thousand new cars were issued for financial and operational leasing over the first ten months of 2024, which was a 15.6% rise on the previous year. At the same time, the new car market grew by 59%; as a result, the share of cars leased on the market decreased to 12.2%.
According to the NAPI, over the first ten months of 2024, the production of all vehicle types increased by 34.3% on the similar period of 2023. However, compared to the prosperous 2019, the vehicle production decreased by 45.6% due to a sharp decline in the car production. In 2024, the production of all types of commercial vehicles grew on 2019, especially in the LCV segment (+20.1%) and in the bus segment (+21.6%).
