The whitewashing machine has been upgraded at the KAMAZ Foundry Plant
A whitewashing machine was restored at the Foundry Plant of KAMAZ PTC. Due to this, the rate of whitewashing of slag pans in Foundry Plant No. 1 for cast iron production increased 16-fold.
The whitewashing machine itself consists of a metal structure on which a control cabinet with a push-button remote control, a tank, a reducing gear, two electric motors, and a nozzle lowering drive are mounted. With this scheme, the air supply directly comes into the nozzle.
Repairmen, production workers and the design department of the Foundry Plant started implementing their plans in January 2026 and restored the machine on their own in their spare time.
