The Tutaev Motor Plant, KAMAZ subsidiary in the Yaroslavl region, trained employees of service centers to maintain and repair R6 engines. The five-day course was organized for the first time.
The training was completed by a group of 10 people – representatives of service centers from Saratov, Saint Petersburg, Samara, Kursk and Orenburg regions.
Recall that in 2026, the Tutaev Motor Plant will implement the first stage of the "Organization of production of R6 engines displacement of 13 liters" project. In spring, a site for assembly and testing in–line R6 engines, a new type of product for TMP PTC, was organized in the machine assembly shop. Since June, the serial delivery of these engines to the assembly line of the Saint Petersburg Tractor Plant has begun, 50 units have been delivered. 6 tractors equipped with 430- and 460-HP R6 engines have been produced, which are being successfully operated in different regions of the Russian Federation – the Republic of Tatarstan, Stavropol, Rostov-on-Don, Tambov, Saratov, and Volgograd regions. Another 8 tractors equipped with R6 engines will roll off the assembly line of Saint Petersburg Tractor Plant JSC in August.
