The new Astera name has been patented by AvtoVAZ

An application for a new trade name has been registered in the database of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property. It is assumed that the new Astera name, reserved by AvtoVAZ, may refer to a crossover, the premiere of which is expected on June 18, 2025 at the SPIEF.

However, there is no exact confirmation of this information. The novelty may also be named Darus, Azimut, Merida, XTour or XRave. These names were also previously reserved by AvtoVAZ.
