Nissan has applied for trademark registration in Russia

The Japanese Nissan has applied for registration of a number of trademarks in Russia, according to Rospatent. Patenting will take place according to the classes of the International Classification of Goods and Services (ICGS), which combine vehicles, retail and wholesale trade, as well as financial services.

Obtaining patents will give the company the right to sell cars, automotive components and accessories in Russia. It should be noted that this does not mean that the model will return to the Russian market.

In addition to Nissan, Datsun, Infiniti and Nismo brands have applied for trademark registration in the Russian Federation.
