Production of BMW X5 and X6 resumed in Russia, however, as reported by CarExpo.ru cars are assembled from used components, bypassing official channels.

Earlier, it became known about the availability of X5 and X6 models for sale in 2025, the production of which was set up from pre-styling components in 2022, remaining in the warehouse of the Kaliningrad Avtotor enterprise.

Thus, BMW released this year are new cars with elements of outdated models, so the interior is designed similarly to the previous generation. It is also noted that these models will not be identified in the BMW database by VIN number due to the official termination of the company's activities in Russia.
