UAZ will launch production of the new Sollers SUV based on the JAC platform
UAZ will begin assembling Sollers frame SUV based on JAC.
A presentation of a new, yet unnamed Sollers SUV was held in China. According to some details of the exterior, including the caps on the wheel disks, it can be assumed that the novelty is built on the basis of JAC together with Chinese partners.
Nevertheless, according to Nikolai Sobolev, CEO of Sollers, it is planned to localize the production of the power unit and other components for the future novelty in Russia. It is planned to finally set up production by the end of this year.
