UAZ postponed sales of the updated Patriot
The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant was unable to launch sales of the updated flagship Patriot SUV within the previously promised timeframe. Nevertheless, as Autonews reports, the start of sales is announced for the end of the third quarter of the current year.
The model will be released on the market under the name "Patriot X". The main technical update is 2.0-liter diesel engine capacity of 136 HP, paired with 6-speed manual gear box.
Externally, the novelty differs from the pre-facelift version in fully LED optics and a slightly retouched radiator enclosure. The car's interior features a new steering wheel, a dial-shaped transmission selector, and several USB ports, including USB-C.

The Government of the Russian Federation has expanded the list of domestic-made cars that comply with taxi localization regulatory requirements. Haval H3 and Haval Dargo crossovers, manufactured using full-cycle production process in the Tula region, have been added to the approved list.
