UAZ plans to set up production of the updated Patriot in 2025
The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant will present a deeply modernized UAZ Patriot SUV in 2025, according to the insider Telegram channel Avtopotok. It is also reported that work on the new model was organized jointly by the UAZ Engineering Center located in Ulyanovsk and the Sollers Design Center located in Kazan.
According to Alexey Spirin, General Director of UAZ, the SUV will be equipped with a localized 2.0-liter power unit, the production of which has already started at the Sollers Engine Plant in the Alabuga SEZ in Tatarstan. Prototypes of the novelty have already been assembled and are undergoing factory tests.
