UAZ plans to launch production of Sollers pickups in November 2024
UAZ will produce Sollers ST6 pickups (facelifted Chinese JAC T6), later ST8 model (JAC T8) will be put on the assembly line, which is unified in platform and most of the body panels in ST6. In the future, it is planned to produce 8-10 thousand ST6 and ST8 vehicles per year, according to Alexey Russkikh, the governor of the Ulyanovsk region. The start of production is scheduled for November 2024.
Recall that 1.5 billion rubles have been allocated for the modernization of the Ulyanovsk plant this year. In 2025, it is planned to launch a new production of security system components.
