Preparations are underway at UAZ for the launch of the new Sollers SUV, according to the company representative. The novelty name has not yet been disclosed.

This will be a large-sized frame model based on the JAC T9 pickup. It will be equipped with 2.0-liter 200-HP turbocharged diesel unit coupled with a classic 8-speed automatic gear box and all-wheel drive. There are 7 seats in the cabin.

The start of full-cycle production, including welding and painting of bodies, is scheduled for the end of the current year. The estimated start date for sales is early 2026. Investments into the project will amount to about 4 billion rubles.
