Trial operation of NEFAZ-5299-31-52 bus completed in Crimea

The trial operation of NEFAZ-5299-31-52 suburban bus has been completed in Simferopol.

The bus was tested by drivers and specialists of the largest transport company in Crimea, Krymtrolleybus, for a month. During its operation, it traveled about 8 thousand km and transported over 11 thousand passengers along the Simferopol – Krasnoe suburban route. The average daily mileage was 300 km.

The restyled NEFAZ-5299-31-52 suburban bus is an effective solution for suburban routes and personnel transportation. A distinctive feature of the restyled model in comparison with the previous generation bus is a storage platform and a ramp for transporting passengers with limited mobility, which meet the requirements of an "Accessible environment". The body of NEFAZ-5299-31-52 bus is made of fiberglass panels.  The model is equipped with a 221.5 kW KAMAZ engine, automatic gear box and an independent front suspension.
