The Tonar Machine-Building Plant continues to improve its vehicles and now an updated K4-U container semi-trailer has appeared in the line-up.

One of the main features of the novelty is a frame made of high-strength POWERFORM700 grade steel. This material makes it possible to achieve an optimal balance between strength and weight: the weight of the semi-trailer is only 5,540 kg.

The semi-trailer undercarriage is designed for intensive operation. The model has real-world proven axles by own production on block bearings and the integral suspension ensuring stability and smooth running even when fully loaded. Two lifting axles (the first and the second from the tractor unit seat) allow to optimize the load and reduce tire wear when driving without load.

The safety and handling of the semi-trailer is ensured by the TSR braking system with EBS. It improves braking accuracy and reduces the risk of accidents, meeting modern requirements for active safety of commercial vehicles.
