AVTOVAZ continues to transfer the LADA Vesta production technology from the LADA Izhevsk site to the assembly lines in Togliatti. The first three LADA Vesta bodies were welded at the Togliatti AVTOVAZ site. This is part of the commissioning process, which will last until the start of serial production, scheduled for the first half of 2023.

According to the AVTOVAZ industrial strategy, adopted in August 2022, the LADA Vesta production is transferred to the Togliatti site in order to ensure the utilization of AVTOVAZ's capacities and ensure the pace of model production sufficient to meet demand. When transferring technologies from Izhevsk to Togliatti, a high level of the car quality and safety is maintained. The transfer process is proceeding in accordance with the approved process schedule.
