Three KAMAZ-54901 long-haul tractor units have been shipped to a transport company

Three latest-generation KAMAZ-54901 long-haul tractor units coupled with TZA-588510-08 curtainsided semi-trailers have been shipped to a customer. Vehicles were supplied by Sever-Scan Auto, an authorized dealer of KAMAZ PTC. Vehicles were leased by the customer through KAMAZ Leasing Company JSC.

KAMAZ-54901 (4x2) tractor unit is the flagship of the K5 model line-up, equipped with a new 6-cylinder in-line KAMAZ engine capacity of 482 HP and displacement of 13 liters. The engine works in combination with 12-speed robotized gear box. The use of modern, high-tech design solutions made it possible to increase the service interval to 120,000 km and the engine life to 1.5 million km, while reducing fuel consumption by 10% compared to previous-generation vehicles.

TZA 588510-08 curtainsided semi-trailer is designed for operation as part of a road train with long-haul tractor units. The curtainsided design minimizes loading and unloading time and reduces driver fatigue. The semi-trailer's sides and roof slide open without disassembling the structure. The side tarpaulin and a roof can be folded together or separately.
