The new Moskvich has been certified for Russia
The new Moskvich crossover has been certified in Russia, according to the Rosstandart registry. The model has internal code AS33.
The new model is expected to be called Moskvich 70 and will be based on the MG HS crossover platform. The body length is 4,655 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,765 mm. The base model is powered by 1.5-liter turbocharged engine developing 156 HP, coupled with 7-speed automatic gear box. The major version will be equipped with 200-HP engine working in combination with 9-speed automatic gear box. Front-wheel drive is available in both versions.
The crossover's market launch date has not yet been announced.
