The new MG5 received Vehicle Type Approval for the Russian market

Mir-Distributor, the official representative of MG Motor in Russia, has fully completed the process of obtaining vehicle type approval for MG5 sedan model for the Russian market, Kommersant reports.

The car is equipped with 1.5-liter 114-HP unit coupled with manual or 9-speed automatic gear box (CVT) and front-wheel drive. The trunk volume is 512 liters. The Russian version of the sedan will be available in three versions: Comfort MT, Comfort CVT, and Deluxe CVT. Depending on the version, the model is equipped with options such as tire pressure sensor, six airbags, rear parking sensors, 360-degree cameras, seats with electric adjustment in six directions, keyless entry, and LED headlights.

The novelty cost, taking into account marketing offers, will amount to 1,999 million rubles for the version Comfort MT, 2,069 million rubles for Comfort CVT and 2.169 million rubles for Deluxe CVT.
