The new K5 generation KAMAZ model debuted on the Russian market

KAMAZ, together with its authorized partner, NPO Transmaster plant (Miass) has launched a new model of K5 generation special purpose vehicle. The tanker on the KAMAZ-65658 chassis is designed for transportation and short-term storage of light oil products.

The special purpose vehicle is based on a modern K5 generation chassis with high performance characteristics, in a configuration that meets the requirements of ADR (European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road). The vehicle is equipped with a comfortable cabin with a berth, KAMAZ engine capacity of 390 HP and 12-speed robotized gear box. Other features of this model include a 6x2 wheel arrangement and a lifting rear axle.

The tanker is made of high–quality 4 mm carbon 09G2C, the shell thickness is 4 mm, the thickness in the area of the armor plates is 8 mm, the thickness in the area of the tank supports is 12 mm. There are transverse and longitudinal surge plates. The gross vehicle weight is 29,500 kg.

The main consumers of this high–tech truck are fuel companies and POL distributors engaged in transportation of petroleum products from oil depots to end users, filling station networks and independent filling stations that require regular fuel supply.
