GAC Empower sedan, which will debut in Russia in the first quarter of 2025, has received vehicle type approval, according to the Rosstandart registry. In the department's document, the sedan is listed under the name A55, but it is displayed as Empower when searching.

Empower is a C-class sedan, similar in size to Volkswagen Jetta or Hyundai Elantra that left Russia. The car cost in the Russian market has not yet been announced, but now dealers are bringing the model under the parallel import scheme. The price for the new GAC (Trumpchi) Empower starts from 2.9 million rubles, according to the offers on classifieds.
