The new Avatr electric car brand is officially presented in the Russian Federation
The Avatr luxury brand of electrified cars has officially entered the Russian market, according to the a statement from Changan's head office.
The brand is a joint product of Changan concern and the largest IT manufacturer Huawei, which develops multimedia software, as well as CATL, which supplies traction batteries. Previously, cars of the brand were imported into Russia only under parallel import. Currently, Avatr 07, 09, 11 and 12 models are available in Russian dealerships.
It is still unknown which models will be the first to go on official sale in the Russian market.
