As part of the "Forge Plant Modernization: Stage II" investment project, the Metal Cutting Building (MCB) received another batch of new equipment. This is automatic metal cutting lines based on two circular cold sawing machine for metal.

The Forge Plant MCB already has experience working on such equipment: the first delivery of three P-150 circular cold sawing machines (diameter of workpieces up to 150 mm) was arranged back in 2014. In July 2019, the MCB has been replenished with two more circular cold sawing machines, there are already five of them. The design capacity of new lines based on circular cold sawing machines has reached 600,000 workpieces per year. The MCB has the opportunity to work quickly according to requests of the production buildings, that is, without wasting time, to cut workpieces of different diameters, from 60 to 150 mm, and immediately send them to Forge and Stamping Building No. 1 (FSB-1) or FSB-3. The new equipment began to work in three shifts and produce workpieces with precise geometric parameters, which significantly improved their quality and conditions for stamping operations.

The project has reached a new stage: the MCB has received and is already operating the latest automatic metal cutting lines based on circular cold sawing machines for metal, but of a different model – F-200NC (diameter of workpieces up to 200 mm) in the amount of two units. The main advantage of the novelty is a completely different level of productivity and automation.
