The KAMAZ-52222 electric bus was presented at the Electrotrans exhibition in Moscow

The leading Russian manufacturer presented the KAMAZ-52222 electric bus at the Electrotrans exhibition, which opened on April 28 in Moscow.

The A5 new generation electric bus is a modern stylistic solution for urban transport, combining environmental friendliness and advanced technologies. In comparison with the previous KAMAZ-6282 model, the battery capacity and the range have been increased in the KAMAZ-52222 electric bus. The A5 generation electric bus is equipped with a Russian lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) battery with a capacity of 230 kW/h, providing a range of at least 100 km. The electric portal axles are equipped with synchronous motors with a power of 2x180 kW. A full charge takes only 55 minutes from a 300 kW station.

The first serial deliveries to the State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans are scheduled for April 2025. The total volume of deliveries of this model to Russia's largest operator of land-based urban passenger transport will amount to 400 units this year.
