The IF-9 flying car project was developed by the Russian Design Bureau

The Russian Filatov Design Bureau has developed a conceptual design for IF-9 flying car, combining the features of the car and a quadcopter.

The 1:5 scale model will be remotely controlled. It is equipped with motors with propellers mounted on folding beams fixed at the body corners. With this configuration, it is possible to place larger-diameter propellers on the beams, which will increase the vehicle's flight time and efficiency.

It is planned to start testing the new product in early 2025. At the moment, a prototype has been developed that moves in the mode of a conventional car and spreads out beams with propellers and engines.
