The hybrid LADA Azimut will be equipped with a Russian battery
The hybrid version of LADA Azimut crossover will receive a Russian-made lithium-ferrophosphate (LFP) traction battery. According to Autonews, citing the AvtoVAZ press service, the production of this battery will be launched by the Autonomous Energy Systems company included in the Itelma group.
Recall that it is currently known that the hybrid LADA Azimut will receive a series-parallel powertrain and all-wheel drive. Exact specifications have not yet been disclosed. It was previously reported that the model's capacity could be around 390 HP.
