The first Russian RT-6 snow groomer was launched in Chelyabinsk

UMG Group of Companies presented RT-6 snow groomer, manufactured at the Chelyabinsk Road Construction Machinery, at the Tourism Technology Forum.

The model weight is 6.3 tons, the power unit is represented by a powerful engine in its class (6-cylinder YaMZ-536 engine capacity of 313 HP), coupled with a closed-loop hydrostatic transmission. The fuel tank capacity is 250 liters. The maximum travelling speed reaches 24 km/h, and the milling speed is 16 km/h. The vehicle movement direction is controlled by the steering wheel, while the working equipment - by a joystick.

RT-6 snow groomer is designed to form smooth and dense snow surfaces, for example, to prepare ski trails and other winter sports grounds. Moreover, the model can be used to prepare winter shelters, transport various cargoes in Arctic conditions, as well as at airfields and highways to prepare and maintain the quality of snow cover.
