The first Atom rolled off the Moskvich assembly line
The first pre-production sample of Atom electric car was assembled at the Moskvich plant. According to Autonews, this is a prototype of the PT (Plant Trial) series. These samples are necessary for testing the entire chain of the production process in serial mode. At the same time, PT-series models are full-fledged cars that are created based on the same technologies and standards that will be used in commercial samples.
The production model is equipped with a 150 kW (204 HP) electric motor with a range of 500 km. A 77 kW/h battery with fast charging is also integrated into the car.
Recall that earlier, Anton Alikhanov, the Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, announced a figure of 5-6 thousand Atom cars issued for 2026.
