The electric and hybrid vehicle project is being developed at Uralaz

Within the framework of the Innoprom-2024 industrial exhibition, the URAL Automobile Plant (AZ URAL) presents its own development – a new generation modular electric platform. The electric motor of the eco-friendly and silent machine is powered by a double set of traction batteries, which allow for a power reserve of up to 250 km.

The vehicle was developed primarily for use in urban environments. It is maneuverable, with a low noise level, but most importantly it has absolutely no exhaust emissions. On the presented electric platform, it is possible to install almost any superstructure for municipal, road, construction, and logistics vehicles.

The 4x2 electric vehicle has a total weight of 19 tons with a chassis load capacity of up to 10.5 tons. The capacity of Russian-made traction batteries is 250 kW/h. Traction batteries with a thermal control system, temperature and voltage control, guarantee safety during operation. Long service life is possible even at subzero temperatures up to -45 degrees.

In addition, Ural C230E5 electric hybrid truck, a crew vehicle, is presented at the stand of PJSC ROSSETI Ural. It is designed to deliver crews and all necessary electrical equipment to the place of repair work on overhead and cable lines. The vehicle has a 4x2 wheel arrangement. The generator set increases the range to 500 km.
