The Deepal sub-brand will enter the Russian market
Changan is launching its Deepal sub-brand on the Russian market, according to the brand's press service.
The first premiere in Russia will be G318 hybrid SUV. It is equipped with a hybrid power plant based on 1.5-liter petrol turbocharged engine that acts as a generator. The drive is implemented by means of two electric motors — one per axle. The total capacity is 439 HP. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes the model 6.3 seconds, and the total mileage with a full tank and a charged battery exceeds 1 thousand km. The battery capacity is 35 kWh.
It is known that Deepal G318 is planned to be localized at the Kaliningrad Avtotor enterprise.

The first mass-produced Russian electric car Atom, will officially go on sale by May 31, 2026.
According to Alfa-Bank documents, the Atom's retail price will be 3,980,000 rubles, with a government subsidy of 925,000 rubles included. This brings the final price for the new car to 3,055,000 rubles.
