At the International Exhibition COMTRANS International 2024, which opened on December 10, 2024 at Expocentre Fairgrounds in Moscow, the Modern Transport Technologies Group of Companies presented the innovative Valdai truck family at its stand.

The exhibition demonstrates medium-duty trucks with GVW of 8 tons and 12 tons manufactured by the Gorky Automobile Plant and heavy-duty models with GVW of 18 tons and 45 tons (as part of a road train) manufactured by Nizhny Novgorod Trucks.

Valdai 45 vehicle is a long-haul tractor unit designed to operate as part of a road train with GVW of 45 tons to increase the efficiency of intercity freight transportation. The heavy-duty truck is equipped with 470-HP diesel engine with a torque of 2,200 Nm and automatic gear box, which facilitates the driver's work and increases the vehicle fuel efficiency. Two fuel tanks with a total capacity of 840 liters make it possible to travel up to 3,000 km without refueling.

Valdai 18 chassis is a modern transport solution for transporting large volumes of goods. The model is equipped with 6.7-liter diesel engine capacity of 261 HP in combination with 8-speed gear box with an optimal range of gear ratios. The load capacity of the chassis varies from 11.8 to 12.2 tons, depending on the wheelbase length. To complete long routes without refueling, a 450-liter fuel tank is mounted on the vehicle, and an autonomous heater allows the driver to relax in the cabin in winter without starting the engine. The cabin is available in a 2- or 3-seat configuration, with a berth or without it.
