Modern Transport Technologies presented a specialized vehicle for utility services on the Valdai 12 chassis within the framework of the "Special Equipment Business" exhibition.
The vehicle modification was carried out by the KORMZ company from Kemerovo, which specializes in utility vehicles. In turn, the choice of Valdai 12 as the base chassis can be explained by the compact dimensions of the truck itself (the length of the short-wheelbase version is only 5,712 mm) and its excellent maneuverability, due to the large turning angles of the steered wheels. With a turning radius of 5.8 m, Valdai 12 is perfectly suited for operation in urban environments.
The key feature of the new model lies in its versatility, as the vehicle can operate effectively in both winter and summer. In the first case, thanks to special attachments – a hopper and a plow – the vehicle acts as a snowplow with the ability to spray necessary reagents.
Valdai 12 is equipped with 169-HP YaMZ-534 diesel engine paired with 6-speed gear box. The basic version of the model is equipped with rear air suspension.
