STT and RusTruck presented a tanker truck on the Valdai 12 chassis

The Modern Transport Technologies Company and RusTruck, a special purpose vehicle manufacturer, presented a new model of tanker truck made on the chassis of Valdai 12 cab-over-engine truck. The vehicle is designed for transporting light oil products, refueling special equipment at the point of operation, and households, and will be in demand primarily in the construction and agricultural industries.

The 8,000-liter fuel tank is divided into two compartments, which makes it possible to use the tanker more efficiently. The use of an ellipsoidal tank made it possible to lower the center of gravity and improve the vehicle stability while driving. The tank is made of low-alloy steel 09G2C, characterized by high impact resistance, increased wear resistance and stable performance when operating under pressure over a wide temperature range.

The tanker truck is based on the Valdai 12 mid-size chassis (3,860 mm wheelbase). With a total length of 6,800 mm, the maximum turning radius is only 6.5 m. Valdai 12 is equipped with a heavy-duty YaMZ-534 diesel engine capacity of 169 HP and 662 Nm of torque, coupled with 6-speed gear box with a wide range of gear ratios.
