Serial production of trailed vehicles based on the MAZ chassis has begun in Ulyanovsk. The matter concerns a curtain semi-trailer, a cooperative project of the Minsk Automobile Plant and the Ulyanovsk dealer TD "AKRO".
The day before, the products were presented to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Dmitry Krutoy and the first deputy chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Nadezhda Lazarevich. An agreement was also signed to supply the first batch of 20 such road trains to one of the key Russian customers. In the future, these will be 250-300 units.
The investment agreement on the launch of joint production was signed in February last year and is being implemented at the existing site, but it is also planned to construct a new building.
