Serial production of LADA Azimut launched at AvtoVAZ
AvtoVAZ has launched serial production of the first LADA Azimut crossover.
The novelty is equipped with 1.8-liter 132-HP engine coupled with automatic gear box or 1.6-liter 120-HP unit combined with manual gear box.
The list of new model options includes heated side windows, a panoramic roof, dual-zone climate control, a washer for selecting driving modes and electrically operated seats.
It is reported that by the end of 2026, according to representatives, the company is going to produce "several thousand" Azimut cars, while plans for 2027 include increasing the production volume to "several tens of thousands" units.
