The Automotive Technologies plant (formerly PSMA Rus) located in the Kaluga region has started the assembly of the Chinese Haval M6 crossover, the GWM press service in Russia reports. It is known that the first production copy rolled off the assembly line on February 17, 2025.

At this stage, production is based on the principle of SKD assembly, i. e. without welding and painting bodies, and ready-made machine kits arrive at the plant. According to the region governor Vladislav Shapsha, the production plan for the current year is 25 thousand cars.
