Sales of medium-duty Valdai 8 with an updated engine have started

Since October, medium-duty Valdai 8 trucks equipped with engines corresponding to Euro-5 emission standard have become available to customers. Thanks to the upgrade of the powertrain, vehicles have become more environmentally friendly and even more efficient.

Valdai 8 trucks are now available with an upgraded 2.5-liter diesel engine of the G 2.5 family in the G51B modification. Its capacity and maximum torque figures are 149.6 HP and 420 Nm. Due to introduction of an electronically controlled turbocharger and an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system in combination with a catalytic converter and a particulate filter, the updated engine meets the strictest standards for exhaust gas toxicity.
